Restoring your files

If you have lost your data due to a computer crash or you are restoring your data to a new computer, you may need to reinstall the @Backup program. 

You can tell if the @Backup program is installed on your system by looking for these icons.

Desktop Icon

If you do not see these icons, you will need to reinstall @Backup to restore your files and start your regular backups again.  Click here to Re-Install the @Backup program.

Web Restore

If you are restoring files from a remote location or do not wish to reinstall the software just yet we suggest using our web-restore feature.  Click here to access Web Restore.  You will need your Machine ID and password to sign in.


Restoring your files using @Backup Neighborhood

This tutorial will step you through restoring your backed up files to your computer.  We suggest you leave your web-browser open and follow the instructions. 

1. Double clicking the Backup Neighborhood located on your desktop


2. Select "My Computer Backup".  This will display folder of all the dates you have completed a back up.  

 

3.  Select from which date you would like to restore your files.
